Like me, she does not like heavy make up.


I love to see skin show though makeup rather than colour. I think it creates an appeal that truly speaks about a person's beauty.


I normally don't shout muas out but I will be doing this henceforth.


She is brilliant and has worked with all sorts of skintones.

Hair products that have worked for me

These products have been on my shelf for close to 2 and a half years.I have bought them again and again after use because i like how they feel on my hair...not tooo greasy,nice smell,more shine to my hair etc...They are my go-to basically and I reckon I will be using them for a long time.....:)

• mango & lime brand products
• organics hair mayonnaise
• regular olive oil
• good old water

The last three  below are quite recent and I am still monitoring exactly what they do to my hair but this is what I have noticed about them and I got the Almond and Castor oil after recommendations from you guys but I do like them so far esp the Castor oil

• castor oil-for sleek hair dos and volume
• I-C hair polisher carrot growth hair moisturiser-for nice smelling hair and shine
• Almond oil-for hair health

Split ends:(

Ok ,so i watched Ambrosia's video yesterday and this morning i decided to have a look at my hair because i havent snipped off any hair in a while and MY,I have so many split ends....funny enough I have suddenly developed the fear of losing even a strand of my hair....gosh but i know i have to do it eventually.....sigh...:(
My hair is so dry......Any tips,girls?

wink wink......ok, so I had a little fit a while ago and complained about how my hair line was receding and asked for a solution and i had a few suggestions to try castor oil....it was quite a mixed review so I decided to try it to find out for myself and it has worked.My hair is actually growing(sorry I don't have pics now).It has definitely worked.So one of my readers,ZEYTIN advised that I rub the castor oil on that part of my hair every evening and TheBeaLane and Simplychic also recommended that I lay off weaves and uno hairstyles that pulls on my hair and because they have healthy hair,I decided to listen to them and apply it and its working....shout out to them and yeah,I will take a photo when I am decently dressed and show it to you guys.Thanks for you help btw....love:)

I've just read a post from For the fabolous and frugal and i'm very glad...She just posted a ntural hair poem and video and I just thought every now and then,you need someone to encourage you to keep going...Its so true sometimes the comments people make when they see your natural hair but this is God made and we have to love our hair like other races love their hair...take pride in what God gave you.....I love the bit where the lady says..."we don this essence because we are rare".. .love your hair no matter what background you are from and dont go to unnecessary and extreme lengths to look like the other girl from another ethnic background...get me?no point!!!!

Hairspiration!!!!!

 I've been thinking of what to do to my hair....I have box braids atm but I will be taking my hair out soon and I need a different hairstyle.....I need my hair to grow cos i left my hair out for a long time and it started getting funny so i need to replenish that by protective styling....so yeah.....
My sister just did my cousin's hair and i feel like that should be my next hairstyle.....should or should not.....?
